48 Hours Are Up…
…at 9pm tonight, sidewalks, mailboxes and fire hydrants must be cleared. per county ordnance…
Snowzilla 2016 wasn’t as bad as the 
blizzard of 2010…this year the state did a great job keeping our roads plowed:-)
3 degrees of separation
i was visiting good neighbor bob novak this morning, and we were commiserating the sad state of the world today;-} bob went on to reminisce about his hometown of diagonal, iowa…the only diagonal anywhere;-)
and he mentioned his granddad, who was a hardware store clerk who personally waited on u.s.grant!
Free Firewood

Dog walkers _almost_ got it right:-}
It’s a sign of progress that our neighbors walking their dogs are bagging their dogs’ poop…something required by Loudoun County ordinance.
Unfortunately, they have only bagged it, leaving little black surprise packages littered on the streets & sidewalks:-P
We hope they will do their dooty;-) & dispose of their dogs’ waste properly.
