The National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board is preparing to launch its 2026 Regional Travel Survey, and we are asking for your assistance in spreading the word throughout our communities.

The survey gathers information about how residents travel, including the transportation options they use, when they travel, and how frequently they make trips. The results will help transportation planners better understand travel patterns and identify opportunities for future transportation improvements throughout the region.

What Residents Should Know:
– Selected households will begin receiving postcards in the mail inviting them to participate.
– The survey welcomes input from people of all ages and abilities, including those who drive, walk, bike, or use public transportation.
– Participating households can receive $5–$10 upon completing the full survey.
– Residents who receive a postcard are encouraged to follow the instructions provided to participate.
