Suzanne Volpe, Supervisor in our Algonkian District, urges us to attend this meeting.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 7 p.m. at River Bend Middle School, located at 46240 Algonkian Parkway in Sterling. This will be an expanded version of the Eastern Loudoun’s Sheriff Office Quarterly Meeting that will include a presentation on drug awareness, prevention and education. A Loudoun County Public Schools Student Assistance Specialist will also be in attendance and be available to provide information on student assistance services.
The agenda will also include information regarding recent crime and crime trends in the area, traffic safety concerns and other public safety related issues. The meeting will be led by Captain Hines, the Substation Commander, and Sheriff Mike Chapman or a member of his leadership team will also be in attendance.
In light of recent events in our community, she vigorously encourages every resident to attend this meeting. It’s important that each of us learn about issues within our community and how best to protect our families and our community.
