Common Ground

The HOA maintains all the cardinal glen section & common ground mapcommon ground, contracting for mowing & removal of dead trees, which comprise the lion’s share of our budget. While Cardinal Glen common ground is for enjoyment by all homeowners whose HOA dues are paid in full, there are a few regulations regarding its usage.

To protect the health of our common ground trees, bushes, grass, and ground cover and avoid any additional expenditure of your HOA dues money on common ground maintenance, please note that the following is NOT permitted on any part of HOA common ground:

  • Storing and/or dumping any type of material, trash, or yard debris. This includes the blowing/dumping of autumn leaves and any other type of yard waste (e.g., grass clippings, dead plants or bushes, fallen or trimmed tree limbs) regardless of how much of a “soil enhancer” you believe such waste to be.

  • Riding any type of motorized vehicle (gas, electric, and/or battery-operated). This includes electric/battery-operated scooters, bicycles, child ride on cars/trucks, ATVs, etc. The only exception to this is the machines and vehicles used by our contacted mowing and tree removal companies.
