Our annual meeting is scheduled for 25 January, online via Zoom, when we will hold elections for Board members whose terms expire, and update members on our activities.
As we did last year, we will be holding it online on Zoom.
The Cardinal Glen HOA Rt7 Study Committee was delighted to have the Loudoun County Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure (DTCI) team members John ‘JT’ Thomas and Bob Brown speak with us virtually on Monday, December 6, at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the Route 7 Corridor Study.

Original owners Jim & Ceci Futrell are putting their house on the market and will be leaving Cardinal Glen in the near future. She writes:
Now that my house is on the market, it is time for me to step down from the Board. I am so glad that I could work with you all in making this a neighborhood that I am proud to have called home for the past 38 years.
I know that all of you will continue to bring great things to the neighborhood. It is really great to see new, younger, more energetic people join forces to make this an even better neighborhood.
I will still be around for another year, so be sure to wave when you see me coming.

Mary Kipps will be assuming the role of President, and Lori Jule will add Vice-President to her role as Secretary.
Good neighbor Mike White reports that Loudoun County is proposing to limit our intersection to right turns only. We would only be able to enter the neighborhood from westbound 7 (right in), and could only leave the neighborhood going west on 7 (right out). Entering the neighborhood from eastbound 7 would require a u-turn at another intersection…read the details here in the 2040 Route 7 Corridor Study.
We strongly encourage everyone to contact the county board of supervisors to make your opinion heard. This will be a major topic of discussion at our next board meeting! All homeowners are encouraged to attend virtually.
